Mind-maps are a key tool I use with all my 1-2-1 coaching clients because they are really great for building confidence, self-esteem and self-awareness. Making a mind map about your strengths and gifts is an amazing way to foster self-kindness and also help people overcome perfectionist tendencies or fear of failure.

What You'll Need

  • Journal + pen
  • 30 minutes of dedicated time

What You'll Do

  • Fill an entire A4 page with words describing your best strengths, talents, gifts and personality traits.
  • You can include... Ways you treat others, The type of friend you are, Things you like about yourself, What you're proud of about yourself, Strengths you exhibit at work or at home, Positive qualities you have always had, Ways that you are lovable, just by being you, Reasons you are a good sibling/partner/daughter, Things you like about the way you engage with the world, Things other people thank you for or appreciate about you, Strengths developed over time or through experiences.
