Instead of allowing worries to take over your day, decide on a designated 'worry time' of 15 minutes each day. Write worries down during the day as you have them and instead of dwelling on them, save them until worry time. During worry time, focus intently on the worries and on finding solutions for the worries if you can. There may well be worries that you can't do anything about. Recognise which worries you can't control and remind yourself to let go of them.
