This reduces anxiety and allows for more confidence in situations where an anxious response is a possibility. Standing in high power poses for two minutes has been shown to increase testosterone levels (for confidence) and decrease cortisol levels. This leads to a boost in confident feelings.

What You'll Need

  • A quiet place to do the power pose for two minutes - if away from home a bathroom is perfect for this.

What You'll Do

  • Stand in a power pose for two minutes every morning, or before a stressful event. A power pose can include a hands on hips, chest forward, standing tall 'wonder woman' pose, or a standing starfish hands above head feet wide.
