Sometimes we find ourselves in conflicts with others where having a conversation isn't always the best solution. I have found writing a letter to this person saying exactly what I need to say can be absolutely freeing. I also will write what I need to hear from that person. The actual motion of writing helps to literally get these feelings out of my body and I can fully let go. At the end of the day, holding onto anger is hurting ourselves. Writing is a way to resolve the conflict for yourself and move you to a better place without having to visit old wounds with someone.

  • Grab a piece of paper or journal
  • Write whatever you need to get off your chest
  • Rip up the paper and throw it away (optional)
