We are constantly attached to our smartphone devices, from when we wake up until we go to sleep. It is important to schedule a proper break from all of your technology. It is best practice to get into the habit of switching your phone to flight mode early evening a few hours before you sleep. At the start of the month, I schedule in my diary a digital detox day. I recently went on vacation backpacking around Cuba and had 10 days detox from all social media. If I can do it, anyone can!
