Spire Tracker: really seems to help me monitor when I am stressed
This product is a game changer! The Spire Mindfulness and Activity Tracker is a wearable device that links to an app on your phone or tablet. I was worried about my lack of sleep and being stressed a lot at work and found this on Tech Crunch. The app lets you monitor your sleep, stress and activity to ensure you are more aware throughout the day of your breathing and why you get tense. It provides helpful feedback to help you learn how to manage your daily stresses. I'm usually a little sceptical about using devices but after wearing it for a few weeks I've really got used to checking my stress levels. There are times that my heart rate goes up during the day and I get stressed when I haven't even realised. The app lets you know if you've been unusually stressed and gives helpful tips to remind you to take a deep breath. It makes you more conscious of your activity - kind of like a personal coach helping you along your day, giving you stats to check your daily and weekly progress. Its so easy to wear - it clips on to clothing or underwear and is pocket sized. Its great as it allows you to take control of your metal wellness without taking any drastic measures or taking too much time out of your day - just being more aware of yourself and your body. I couldn't recommend this more, it's definitely a worthwhile investment.
